Rituals Performed in Mehendipur Balaji Temple<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Every visitor should carry out various rituals in honour of Lord Balaji at the Mehendipur Balaji temple with the proper arrangements. The rituals are categorized into three parts:<\/p>\n

1. Durkhasta<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Devotees perform the first ritual in the temple by buying Durkhasta ladoos from the shops outside the temple. Each plate holds four to five ladoos. The first plate is to tell the god about your existence in the temple, whereas the second plate is to seek the guidance and support of Balaji in solving your troubles.<\/p>\n

\"Mehendipur<\/p>\n

The ritual of buying these Durkhasta ladoos starts after the morning aarti and continues until the evening aarti. People have to present the plates to the pandit standing in front of the lords. These pandits take the ladder and put it into the ritual of fire in front of the idol.<\/p>\n

Once prayers and offerings are done, the leftover ladoo in plates are moved anticlockwise on the person\u2019s forehead 7 times and pitched away without seeing behind.<\/p>\n

2. Arzi<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The next ritual is Arzi which means offering for pretraj and kotwal Bhairav ji. The presentation includes 1.25 kilogram ladoos, 2.25 kilograms of urad dal, and 4.25 kilograms of boiled rice. You can buy the arzi from any local shop outside the temple, and you should provide it to both deities in different containers.<\/p>\n

3. Savamani<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Once rituals and offerings are done, devotees can ask for any desire from Lord Balaji; you should promise that when the wise is fulfilled, you will offer Savamani to the lord. The ritual is performed to thank the god for completing the desire. Savamani can be done especially on Tuesdays or Saturdays.<\/p>\n
